Lord Sugar and the other judges of The Apprentice UK have no time for nonsense in the business boardroom. So when BBC Creative launched a TV trail full of ridiculous Apprentice-themed merchandise, we decided to to take it a step further and made people think the merch was real.
Introducing: The Apprentice Collection.
We started with a professional shoot of our products and even created a sexy TV cologne ad for Lord Sugar’s new fragrance L’eau de Lord, promising its wearers “the smell of success.” We then listed the products for sale on Facebook Marketplace and even sent the actual products to fans like Piers Morgan. Needless to say, people loved the nonsense.
