The grizzly bear is a treasured icon of the California state flag. Problem is, there hasn't been a grizzly here in almost a century. Why? We hunted them out. Now, they're endangered, forced to live in shrinking habitats.
We said it's time we honoured our state bear and brought them back home. So, we teamed up with a non-profit, The Center of Biological Diversity to create our campaign AND legally petitioned the U.S. Fish and Wild Service to #bringbackthebears.
First, we took the bear off the flag and created authentic California souvenirs. Next, we created a site to help debunk myths about grizzly reintroduction and to drive the petition.
